The Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) football defeated the host Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA), 27-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cadets face the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 27. Linsly will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 52-7 league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV).
The Hillers (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL AAAA Big Seven bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Ringgold lost by Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA), 21-19, in a league bout.
