New York High School Volleyball - Sleepy Hollow can't hold off Peekskill

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Peekskill Red Devils volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen.
The Red Devils (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 13-18 record. In their last battle, Scarsdale nudged New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Horsemen clash with the Pawling Tigers (Pawling, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 21. Sleepy Hollow will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
Match Summary
Red Devils Outlast the Horsemen 3-2. After 2 Fire Alarm delays, our Red Devils got off to a lackluster start, going down 2 sets to a plucky Headless Horsemen defense and good serving. In the 3rd set, Peekskill started to minimize errors and play more solidly. By increasing service accuracy, and pouncing on the ball aggressively, our Red Devils came roaring back.
The outcome of the match was never guaranteed. Every point was a contest. The match could have gone either way.
If it was not for Peekskill's determination and grit, the match would have been over early. In the end, Peekskill overcame adversity and outlasted the Horsemen in 5 sets in a late night !Friday featured a 10pm late night comeback match ??
