South Dakota High School Volleyball - Spearfish Yankton

The Yankton Bucks/Gazelles topped the visiting Spearfish Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league test.

The Bucks/Gazelles now have a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sturgis Brown for a AA District 1 test on Friday, October 20. Yankton will confront a Scoopers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Scoopers record now stands at 5-18.

The Spartans (12-14) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Arrows go into the AA District 1 contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Watertown was beaten by Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-0, in a league contest.
