The Sturgis Brown Scoopers topped the host Yankton Bucks/Gazelles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league test.
The Scoopers now have a 6-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisburg for a AA District 1 test on Saturday, October 21. Sturgis Brown will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 22-0.
The Bucks/Gazelles (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers enter the AA District 1 test with a 5-21 record. In their last test, Rapid City Central was knocked off by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD), 2-0, in a league test.
