The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their match against River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ). The Dust Devils come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, River Valley was routed by Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 31-3, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Prospectors meet the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a 3A Metro East match, on Tuesday, October 21. Apache Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 46-0 non-league loss to Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ).
