The Westlake Lions flag football squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting Jackson Jaguars to 13 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Banneker for a D4 Area 3 test on Tuesday, November 4.

With the defeat, Jackson drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA) to play the Royal Knights in a D3 Area 5 challenge on Wednesday, October 22. The Royal Knights go into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Elite Scholars Academy lost 21-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
