In Monday's league contest, the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) soccer team edged the host Ridgeline Falcons (Liberty Lake, WA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Panthers battle the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest, on Wednesday, October 22. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA).
The Falcons (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shadle Park (Spokane, WA). The Highlanders enter the 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Shadle Park was nudged by Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA), 7-0, in a league challenge.
