Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), 40-21 in a league test.

The Lions now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Reed-Custer for a test on Friday, October 24. Lisle will meet a Comets squad coming off a 27-8 league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Streator drops to 0-3 on the season.
