In Monday's non-league contest, the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), by a margin of 8-0.
The Meteors now hold a 19-3 record. They play next when they host Glenbard South for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 25. De La Salle will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Juarez (Chicago, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Nazareth Academy moves to 4-17 on the year.
