Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Holy Cross nudges West Scranton

The Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) soccer edged the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league contest.
Next, the Crusaders battle the Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division III contest, on Friday, October 24. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 9-10 record after their 4-2 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA).
The Invaders (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Wolfpack enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Wilkes-Barre held off Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA), 4-2, in a league challenge.
