Maplewood Baptist Academy Black Bears (Kinross, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alanson Vikings (Alanson, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maplewood Baptist Academy improves its record to 10-8 on the season. The Black Bears travel to Engadine (Engadine, MI) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-14.
The Vikings now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mackinaw City for a Freelance challenge on Monday, October 27. Alanson will meet a Comets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brimley (Brimley, MI). The Comets record now stands at 12-14.
