Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Camelback Spartans (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ), observed Camelback's volleyball team top Washington by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruins go into the 6A - Metro battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Browne dropped by Dobson (Mesa, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rams now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sierra Linda for a 5A - Central Valley battle on Wednesday, October 22. Washington will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over North (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
