Illinois High School Volleyball - Earlville tips South Beloit

The South Beloit Sobos volleyball squad (South Beloit, IL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Earlville Red Raiders (Earlville, IL)

With the win, Earlville upgrades its record to 18-12 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL) to meet the Royals in a Little Ten challenge on Tuesday, October 21. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 6-14. Hinckley-Big Rock lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Newark (Newark, IL)

Next, the Sobos meet the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 22. South Beloit will attempt to upgrade on its 26-6 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 9-20 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rockford East (Rockford, IL).
