The Hoover Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Mayfield Kansas to 1 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now possess a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Nordonia for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 22. Hoover will confront a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Knights record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Mayfield drops to 5-15 on the campaign.
