Illinois High School Volleyball - Monticello over St. Teresa

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) and the host St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), observed Monticello's volleyball team top St. Teresa by a count of 2-0.

The Sages (22-12) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the Illini Prairie battle with a 29-5 record. In their last battle, Bloomington Central Catholic achieved victory over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 21. St. Teresa will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Braves record now stands at 17-15.
