California High School Volleyball - San Dieguito Academy can't get by Mt. Carmel

Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Sundevils (18-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Pirates come into the Palomar challenge with a 9-15 record. In their last game, Oceanside was edged by Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 3-0, in a league game.

The Mustangs (8-23) will now prepare for their game against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons go into the Coastal (NCC) game with a 32-4 record. In their last game, Torrey Pines nudged Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
