The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) and the host Anson Tigers (Anson, TX), observed Stamford's football squad bounce Anson by a count of 44-6.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Hawley for a 2A-1 Region I District 4 contest on Friday, October 28. Stamford will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 34-7 league win over Olney (Olney, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 contest, on Friday, October 28. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Loboes go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 47-14 league win over Stamford (Stamford, TX).
