California High School Football - Archbishop Mitty can't get by St. Ignatius

The St. Ignatius Wildcats held off the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs football team by a final score of 24-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, St. Ignatius improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Serra (San Mateo, CA) to confront the Padres in a West Catholic outing on Friday, October 28. The Padres go into the outing with a record of 8-0. Serra won 36-7 in their recent league outing against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA)

With the loss, Archbishop Mitty moves to 6-2 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Valley Christian (San Jose, CA) to confront the Warriors in a West Catholic outing on Friday, October 28. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Valley Christian lost 36-7 in their recent league outing against Serra (San Mateo, CA)
