Alabama High School Football - Northside Methodist Academy sneaks past Ashford

The Northside Methodist Academy Knights football squad scored 31 points and restricted the host Ashford Yellowjackets to 28 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Brockton for a 3A Region 2 battle on Friday, October 28. Northside Methodist Academy will face a Gamecocks squad coming off a 34-14 non-league loss to Headland (Headland, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 0-9.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets face the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a 3A Region 2 battle, on Thursday, October 27. Ashford will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 38-14 league win over Straughn (Andalusia, AL).
