North Carolina High School Football - Atkins tips High Point Central

October 21, 2022: High Point, NC 27262

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), observed Atkins's football squad edge High Point Central by a count of 12-8.

The Camels now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Rockingham County for a 3A West Conference 46 contest on Friday, October 28. Atkins will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 40-27 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.

Coming up next, the Bison encounter the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A West Conference 46 contest, on Friday, October 28. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 50-0 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
