The Matawan Regional Huskies football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Barnegat Bengals to 12 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell Valley Central for a non-league battle on Friday, October 28. Matawan Regional will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-21 league win over Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-0.
