Arkansas High School Football - Mayflower drops to Bauxite

In Friday's league game, the Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) football team knocked off the host Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR), by a final score of 22-3.

The Miners (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Hall (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors come into the 4A Region 4 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Hall was dropped by Lamar (Lamar, AR), 64-32, in a league game.

The Eagles now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harmony Grove for a 4A Region 4 game on Friday, October 28. Mayflower will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 42-12 league win over Hall (Little Rock, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-0.
