California High School Football - Mt. Diablo drops to Berean Christian

In Friday's league game, the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) football team knocked off the host Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), by a final score of 49-20.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, CA). The Minutemen come into the Diablo - Valley game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Concord toppled Alhambra (Martinez, CA), 14-7, in a league game.

The Red Devils now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to College Park for a Diablo - Valley game on Friday, October 28. Mt. Diablo will battle a Falcons team coming off a 84-0 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-3.
