The Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) football defeated the visiting Boston Latin Wolfpack (Boston, MA), 35-8 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Lions face the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) in a Dual County bout, on Friday, October 28. Newton South will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 35-28 league win over Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA).
The Wolfpack (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Cambridge Rindge & Latin lost by Weston (Weston, MA), 46-30, in a league bout.
