The Brooklyn Hurricanes football team (Brooklyn, OH), was knocked off 35-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH)

The Blue Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kirtland (Kirtland, OH). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Kirtland knocked off Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 42-0, in a league challenge.
