In Friday's league game, the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) football team got by the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), by a score of 15-8.
The Dons (2-6) will now prepare for their game against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Huskies come into the East Valley game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, North Hollywood was tipped by Monroe (North Hills, CA), 20-6, in a league game.
