The Halstead Dragons football team (Halstead, KS), was ripped 41-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cheney Cardinals (Cheney, KS)

The Cardinals (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Hugoton trounced Goodland (Goodland, KS), 45-16, in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Chaparral for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 28. Halstead will meet a Roadrunners team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Haven (Haven, KS). The Roadrunners record now stands at 6-1.
