Texas High School Football - Hutto defeats Copperas Cove

In Friday's league match, the host Hutto Hippos football squad scored a good 49-31 victory over the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs.

In their next game, the Hippos clash with the Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 match, on Friday, October 28. Hutto will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 50-21 league win over Midway (Waco, TX).

The Bulldawgs (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region II District 12 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Harker Heights ran past Temple (Temple, TX), 13-9, in a league match.
