Colorado High School Football - Sierra Grande knocks off Cotopaxi

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sierra Grande Panthers (Blanca, CO) and the visiting Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO), observed Sierra Grande's football squad thwart Cotopaxi by a count of 62-49.

The Panthers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Granada for a non-league contest on Friday, October 28. Sierra Grande will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 60-12 league win over Kit Carson (Kit Carson, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 28. Cotopaxi will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 39-32 league loss to Hanover (Colorado Springs, CO).
