Texas High School Football - Cotulla nips Lytle

In Friday's league match, the host Cotulla Cowboys football squad scored a close 6-0 victory over the Lytle Pirates.

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) in a 3A-1 Region IV District 14 match, on Friday, October 28. Cotulla will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Owls enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 35-7 league win over Crystal City (Crystal City, TX).

The Pirates (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Indians/Squaws enter the 3A-1 Region IV District 14 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Jourdanton held off Poteet (Poteet, TX), 46-0, in a league match.
