The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), observed Slidell's football squad defeat Covington by a count of 36-7.

The Tigers now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fontainebleau for a 5A District 6 contest on Friday, October 28. Slidell will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-14 league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
