In Friday's league match, the host Shea Raiders football squad scored a good 41-12 victory over the Cranston East Thunderbolts.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Shea will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 36-0 non-league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
The Thunderbolts (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots enter the Division II-B match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Portsmouth ran past Barrington (Barrington, RI), 21-7, in a league match.
