The Elgin Comets football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Crestline Bulldogs to 14 in the Comets league win on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Frye for a non-league battle on Friday, October 28. Elgin will play a Cadets squad coming off a 30-20 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Cadets record now stands at 9-1.
