In Friday's league game, the Twin Valley Raiders (Elverson, PA) football team knocked off the host Daniel Boone Blazers (Birdsboro, PA), by a final score of 43-20.
The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA). The Hatters come into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Hatboro-Horsham was dropped by Council Rock North (Newtown, PA), 48-20, in a league game.
The Blazers now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fleetwood for a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 challenge on Friday, October 28. Daniel Boone will meet a Tigers team coming off a 56-12 league loss to Solanco (Quarryville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
