In Friday's league game, the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) football team got by the host Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), by a score of 20-14.
The Crusaders (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Colfax (Colfax, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 2B Bi-County game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Colfax nipped Asotin (Asotin, WA), 40-20, in a league game.
The Gorillas now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chewelah for a 2B Bi-County game on Friday, October 28. Davenport will battle a Cougars team coming off a 41-15 league win over Liberty (Spangle, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.
