In Friday's league match, the visiting East Rowan Mustangs football squad scored a good 37-20 victory over the South Rowan Raiders.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a 3A West Conference 48 match, on Friday, October 28. East Rowan will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 14-7 league win over Concord (Concord, NC).
The Raiders (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the 3A West Conference 48 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Carson ran past Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 35-34, in a league match.
