Virginia High School Football - Eastside drops to Thomas Walker

In Friday's league game, the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) football team knocked off the visiting Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA), by a final score of 40-20.
The Pioneers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Titans come into the Cumberland challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Twin Springs achieved victory over Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN), 48-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castlewood for a Cumberland challenge on Friday, November 4.
