The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ridgeland/Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) and the host Edisto Cougars (Cordova, SC), observed Ridgeland/Hardeeville's football squad defeat Edisto by a count of 38-25.

The Jaguars now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Marion for a non-league contest on Friday, October 28. Ridgeland/Hardeeville will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 27-7 league win over Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Gators record now stands at 5-4.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) in a AA Region 6 contest, on Friday, October 28. Edisto will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 34-28 league loss to Barnwell (Barnwell, SC).
