In Friday's league game, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) football team were victorious over the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), by a score of 41-21.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs come into the Jefferson game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Monticello was knocked off by Orange County (Orange, VA), 34-7, in a league game.

Fluvanna County will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 49-8 non-league win over John Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-7.
