The Valley Vikings football team (New Kensington, PA), was ripped 62-19 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA)
The Yellowjackets (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers come into the WPIAL AAA Allegheny 6 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Deer Lakes was ripped by Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 20-0, in a league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knoch for a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 6 challenge on Friday, October 28. Valley will meet a Knights team coming off a 31-21 league loss to East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.
