Ohio High School Football - Hopewell-Loudon topples Gibsonburg

October 21, 2022: Bascom, OH 44809

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) football defeated the visiting Gibsonburg Golden Bears (Gibsonburg, OH), 40-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Seneca East Tigers (Attica, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 28. Hopewell-Loudon will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 56-12 league loss to Carey (Carey, OH).

The Golden Bears (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Edgerton (Edgerton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Edgerton lost by Antwerp (Antwerp, OH), 39-0, in a league bout.
