In Friday's league match, the visiting Linganore Lancers football squad scored a big 44-0 victory over the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots.
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) in a Central Maryland match, on Friday, October 28. Linganore will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 40-0 league win over Tuscarora (Frederick, MD).
The Patriots (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets enter the Central Maryland match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Frederick routed Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD), 35-14, in a league test.
