California High School Football - Helix prevails Grossmont

October 21, 2022: El Cajon, CA 92021

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) and the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), observed Helix's football squad defeat Grossmont by a count of 42-17.

The Highlanders now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Granite Hills for a Grossmont - Hills contest on Friday, October 28. Helix will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 34-0 league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Foothillers encounter the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills contest, on Thursday, October 27. Grossmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 34-0 league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).
