California High School Football - Leigh prevails Gunderson

October 21, 2022: San Jose, CA 95136

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the host Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA), observed Leigh's football squad defeat Gunderson by a count of 29-14.

The Longhorns now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Ann Sobrato for a Santa Teresa - Valley contest on Friday, October 28. Leigh will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-21 league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies encounter the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Valley contest, on Friday, October 28. Gunderson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 27-21 league win over Westmont (Campbell, CA).
