Virginia High School Football - Loudoun County sneaks past Independence

October 21, 2022: Leesburg, VA 20175

The Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) football edged the visiting Independence (Ashburn, VA), 27-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Captains face the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) in a Dulles bout, on Friday, October 28. Loudoun County will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 31-14 league loss to Heritage (Leesburg, VA).

The (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Wolverines enter the Potomac bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Woodgrove was nudged by Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA), 49-28, in a league bout.
