The London Pirates football team (Corpus Christi, TX), was beaten 42-26 in Friday's league challenge with the host Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX)
The Cobras (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks come into the 3A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Palacios was beaten by London (Corpus Christi, TX), 41-7, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goliad for a 3A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge on Friday, October 28. London will meet a Tigers team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Edna (Edna, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
