The New Fairfield Rebels football team (New Fairfield, CT), was ripped 47-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT)

The Falcons (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks come into the South-West challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Newtown trounced Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 28-14, in a league challenge.

The Rebels now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brookfield for a South-West challenge on Friday, October 28. New Fairfield will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 33-27 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-5.
