Virginia High School Football - Liberty Christian smashes Liberty

The Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) football routed the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), 48-0 in Friday's league game.

The Bulldogs (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Lancers come into the Seminole game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Amherst County was trounced by Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 28-14, in a league game.

The Minutemen now hold a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a Seminole game on Friday, October 28. Liberty will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 34-0 league win over Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-2.
