Kansas High School Football - Sedgwick nips Marion

In Friday's non-league match, the host Sedgwick Cardinals football squad scored a close 35-32 victory over the Marion Warriors.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 27. Sedgwick will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 56-12 non-league loss to Smith Center (Smith Center, KS).

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Sacred Heart (Salina, KS). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Sacred Heart held off Republic County (Belleville, KS), 7-6, in a non-league match.
