Texas High School Football - Riesel trounces Moody

In Friday's league match, the host Riesel Indians football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Moody Bearcats.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Crawford Pirates (Crawford, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 28. Riesel will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 59-6 league win over Bosqueville (Waco, TX).

The Bearcats (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A-1 Region II District 8 match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Bruceville-Eddy was crushed by Marlin (Marlin, TX), 54-0, in a league match.
